The European Union has agreed a core set of poverty and social exclusion indicators which are regularly produced for every EU country on a comparable basis. These indicators are known as the 'Laeken Indicators'.
Note that, although comparable across countries, these indicators are not comparable with the various United Kingdom indicators presented elsewhere on this website.
